摘要:
增殖放流是保护全球两栖动物旗舰物种—中国大鲵(Andrias davidianus)的重要措施,但目前对该措施的成效缺乏监测评估,且技术方法尚不完善。分别于2018年9月和2019年9月的同一时段,通过视觉遇见法、网笼诱捕法和环境DNA(eDNA)法对浙江古田山国家级自然保护区的中国大鲵放流种群进行监测,首次从密度、生长、营养状况、繁殖和生态影响等多维度分析了放流群体现状,探讨了不同方法的优劣。结果显示:放流4-5年后密度为8.75尾/km,存活密度较高。两年间捕获的中国大鲵体重和头体长虽无显著差异(体重:T-test,N=27,P=0.341;体长:T-test,N=27,P=0.17),但均呈增长趋势,平均头体长增长4.2 cm,体重增长0.21 kg。个体体重和体长呈显著的线性正相关(图2),总回归方程为Bd=0.067 SVL-1.017(F=104.268,R2=0.807,P<0.01)。年度间个体肥满度差异不显著(P=0.505)(图3),表明个体营养状况良好。古田山适宜中国大鲵放流,群体生存状况良好,已自然繁殖,放流成效显著。放流群体的引入是否导致区域两栖动物群落结构的改变需要进一步追踪。传统方法两年平均遇见率30%、捕获率为43.34%,高于eDNA方法23.34%的平均检出率。各方法调查结果互为补充,多方法结合是中国大鲵放流种群监测和评估的最佳策略。
Abstract:
Artificial reproduction and stock enhancement are important measures to protect a flagship species in global amphibian conservation, the Chinese giant salamander (Andrias davidianus), yet the monitoring and effect uation of such conduct are rare, as the methodology is still in developing. The present study combined visual encounter survey, baited trap survey and the eDNA survey to investigate the population density, individual growth and nutritional status, reproduction and ecological impacts of the released Chinese giant salamanders in Gutian Mountain National Nature Reserve of Zhejiang province in September for two consecutive years, 2018 and 2019. The advantages and disadvantages of the three different monitoring methods were compared and discussed. Our results indicated that the population density of released A. davidianus is 8.75 individuals per kilometer line-transect after 4 to 5 years of the initiative reintroduction. There were no significant variations in body mass and snout-vent length between captured individuals in 2018 and 2019, but the average body mass and snout-vent length of 2019 individuals were slightly greater than in 2018, as increased 0.21 kg and 4.2 cm, respectively. A positive linear correlation was detected between body mass and snout-vent length, as the calculated regression function was Bd (Body mass) =0.067 SVL (snout-vent length) - 1.017 (R2 = 0.807, P <0.01). No difference in individual fatness between years was found, indicating the reintroduced ones were in good nutritional condition. The discovery of larvae plus above findings showed the sampled area is suitable for the reintroduction of A. davidianus, and the conversation project in Gutian Mountain National Nature Reserve of the species casts a favorable effect, as the released individuals were survived and capable of reproducing naturally. Whether the reintroduction of A.davidianus incurs influence to local amphibian community needs further monitoring. The two-year average encounter rate of the visual encounter survey method and baited trap survey were 30% and 43.34%, respectively, which were higher than 23.34% of the eDNA survey. Results of each method complements others, a combination of three methods may be the best strategy for the population monitoring and reintroduction effect assessment of Chinese giant salamander.
