摘要:
随着全球气候变暖,森林火灾发生频率显著增加,火烧作为森林结构和功能变化的主要驱动因子之一,其燃烧过程在短期或长期尺度上影响森林土壤功能和生物地球化学循环。本文从重度火烧引起的温度效应与森林土壤功能的关系着手,就重度火烧干扰对森林土壤功能(水源涵养、缓冲过滤、养分循环、碳存储和生物栖息)的影响和自然恢复森林土壤功能的演变规律及恢复时限进行了综述和讨论。重度火烧造成大量的森林植被和凋落物损失,直接导致土壤温度升高、有机质减少和酸碱性增强,致使土壤酶变性和土壤微生物死亡,并通过氧化、挥发、灰分颗粒对流和淋溶等途径改变了森林土壤的养分浓度,而林地微环境的变化间接影响了土壤功能的演变规律和生态恢复。鉴于不同火烧类型和恢复年限对不同地区、不同类型以及不同层次森林土壤影响的复杂性,未来需要对重度火烧干扰后自然恢复的森林土壤功能进行长期定位且系统地研究,明确土壤各功能间相互作用及土壤功能恢复的机制;此外,土壤斥水性、微量元素和活性有机碳等对重度火烧干扰的响应以及重度火烧与微生物多样性对土壤多功能性的级联效应亟待进一步研究。
Abstract:
With the global warming, the frequency of forest fire increases significantly. Fire, as one of the main driving factors in forest structural and functional changes , has a short-term or long-term effect on soil function and biogeochemical cycles through combustion process. Based on the relationship between severe fire-induced temperature effect and forest soil function, the influence of severe fire disturbance on forest soil function (i.e. water conservation, buffering and filtration, nutrient cycling, carbon storage and biological habitat), and the soil function regulation rule and restoration time over natural restoration forest were reviewed and discussed. Severe fire can cause a large number of loss of forest vegetation and litter, directly leading to the increase of soil temperature, the decrease of organic matter and the enhancement of acidity and alkalinity, resulting in soil enzyme denaturation and soil microorganisms death , and changing the nutrient concentration of forest soil through oxidation, volatilization, ash particle convection, leaching and so on. At the same time, the regulation rule of soil function and ecological restoration were indirectly influenced by the changes of the micro-environment. In view of the complexity of the impact of different fire type and restoration years on different areas, types and horizons of forest soil, it is necessary to locate and systematically study soil function after severe fire disturbance over the natural restoration of forest, so as to clarify the interaction between soil sub-functions and the mechanism of soil function recovery. In addition, the response of soil water repellency, trace elements and labile organic carbon to severe fire disturbance and the cascading effects of severe fire and microbial diversity on soil multifunctional should be focused on the future research.
