Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge endophytic fungi isolation and identification multidrug resistant pathogens antibacterial substances
Q948.12+2.3 : Q936

This research aimed to study the antibacterial activity of endophytic fungi isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge in order to find a new type of antimicrobial substances. One hundred and forty five endophytic fungi were isolated and purified from the stems and leaves of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. Three strains with good antibacterial effects were obtained through antibacterial experiments on common poultry pathogens (Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella pullorum, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213, Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Salmonella typhimurium) and multidrug resistant pathogens (the resistant strain of Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli). At last, a strain S4 with the best antibacterial effects was obtained and identified as Phomopsis sp. by morphological observation and 18S rDNA sequence analysis methods. The follow-up experiment included preliminary analysis of the major categories of the chemical composition, LC-MS and GC-MS of the fermentation broth of the S4 strain. The results showed that the fermentation broth contains phenolic compounds, alkaloids and tyrosol with important biological activities. The results provide new resources for control of drug-resistance.
