- Abstract:
- Abstract Two pairs of differently used forest lands were used to study the relation between soil
animals and soil nutrients of farming and natural forest lands. The results showed that the
species, amounts, biomass of the soilanimals, organic matter contents and trace element contents of
soil in the natural forestland were evidently more and higher than those in the farming forestland,
the amounts of soil animals were positively relative to the nutritional conditions of soil; the
mineral elements of soil animals were clearly relative to the mineral elements of soil and there
were no clear correlativity of the trace elements between the animals and soils.
