Abstract:
To effectively control the damage of grape gray mold in Fuquan City, Guizhou Province, this paper identified the pathogen and studied it’s the biological characteristics in order to provide the theoretical basis for the epidemic mechanism of the disease and its control. Many strains were isolated from the samples of the disease, then the morphology of the pathogen was observed and phylogenetic analysis was conducted. Pathogenicity tests were conducted on the stems, leaves and fruits of grape plant with the representative strain GZFQ-1. The strain GZFQ-1 was observed under different temperature and different pH on PDA, as well as the utilization of nitrogen or carbon sources. Based on the characteristics of the morphology and molecular biology, the strain GZFQ-1 was identified as B. cinerea MUCL87. Its optimum temperature was 25 ℃, next was 22 ℃; The strain could grow in pH 5-9, and grow faster in pH 5-8; The carbon source of glucose, and nitrogen sources of potassium nitrate, isoleucine, histidine and peptone were optimum for strain GZFQ-1, meanwhile, different carbon and nitrogen sources could influence the growth of mycelium and formation of pigment. In conclusion, the pathogen of grape gray mold in Fuquan City, Guizhou Province was B. cinerea, and it could damage the tender stems, leaves and fruits, this result could provide theoretical guidance for the prevention and treatment of grape gray mold in this area.
