Abstract:
A Polysaccharide (PP) was isolsted from Ploygonatum sp.and its pharmacological experiments showed important physiological activities.Aged rats were fed with PP for a month at the doses of 100 mg ·kg-1 d-1 and 50 mg·kg-1·d-1.Compared with Control group,the results indicated that PP could improve the aged rats spleen index, ANAE activity of T lymphocyte, SOD activity of outward erythrocyte, lipofusin content of liver and kidney,lipid Perokidex content of heart,MAO-B activity of brain,SOD activity of retina.lenticular nucleus and cortex,except thymus index and lipid peroxidex of blood plasma.PP proved to have an obvious anti-aging effect by statistic method.
