Abstract:
The contents of inorganic elements including Mg,Al,K,Ca,Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Se,Sr,Cd,Ba,Hg and Pb in the hairs of 3 species of wild animals,11 Ailuropoda Melanoleucus(5♂,6♀),9 Selenarctos thibetanus(4♂,5♀)and 6 Ailurus fulgens(3♂,3♀) were determined by the instruments of ICP-AES and AAS.The results indicate that thecontents of V,Cu and Cd in the hairs of Ailuropoda melanoleucus are higher than those of Selenarctos thibetanus and Ailurus fulgens,but the content of Zn and Se are lower than those of the other 2 animals.In the hairs of male Ailuropoda melanoleucus the content of K is higher than that of the female,and the content of Mn of the female is higher than that of the male.According to the results above we infer that the low breeding rate and high incidence of diseases of Ailuropoda melanoleucus are greatly related to the contents of elements V,Cu,Cd,Zn,Se,Mg and K.
